A gap-fill is a practice exercise in which learners have to replace words missing from a video. It is a great way to practise your Italian.
Test your listening skills!
Can you find the right word to fill in the gap?
In this exercise, you have to fill in blanks with missing words. Listen to the video “Learn Italian with this Vintage TV News (Episode 1)”, carefully and write down the right word.
Before starting:
- turn the subtitles off
- be careful with your spelling
- at the bottom of the last page, check your answers when you finish
- if you need, change speed on Youtube. To slow down Youtube video find the gear icon (on the lower right-hand side of the player) and click it. Locate Playback speed in the menu and select your desired speed.
This is a fun method to learn and improve your listening skills and expanding your vocabulary.
